Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi inaugurated the Speicher Panorama today, Friday, asserting that Iraq will endure, stronger than its wounds and greater than conspiracies. His office stated in a release that "Al-Zaidi opened the Speicher Panorama on Friday, a work created
by the acclaimed Iraqi artist Hanoush Hanoush." During the event, Al-Zaidi reflected, "We recall a deep national wound named Speicher, a crime marking a harsh event in modern Iraqi history. It revealed that terrorism enters not only through weapons, but also
through corruption, institutional weakness, lack of vigilance, and negligence." He explained that "the forces of darkness, by committing this atrocity, aimed to kill the idea of the state, break citizen trust, and turn pain into division," affirming that "they failed, as
martyrs' blood was purer than hatred and terrorist plots." Al-Zaidi stressed that "true loyalty to the martyrs is realized by building a just, strong state that protects its people and their blood," reiterating that "Iraq will remain, through its people's unity,
state sovereignty, and citizens' courage, stronger than its wounds and greater than conspiracies."
