The State of Law Coalition commented today, Friday, on the idea of dismissing the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and forming the "Strong Alliance."
The spokesman for the coalition, Aqeel Al-Fatlawi, said that "the formation of the Strong Alliance inside the parliament, which is a bloc that includes lawmakers from different forces and a number of independents, aims to monitor the performance of the parliament presidency and prevent the confiscation of decisions."
He added that "the alliance does not go directly to bone-breaking, but rather waits for course correction before taking actual steps towards dismissing the Speaker of the Council of Representatives."
He mentioned that "the idea of dismissing the Speaker of the Parliament needs preceding steps, which is talking and waiting for the promises we are given regarding the nature of performance," explaining that "the goal of establishing the Strong Alliance
is to prevent the confiscation of some decisions of the Council of Representatives within the framework of the law."
