Former U.S. President Donald Trump today urged Iran to raise the white flag of surrender, asserting that the Iranian side is "breathing its last breaths." Speaking to Fox News, Trump affirmed he was "not in a hurry" concerning the Iranian
file and had no specific timeline. He added that "the Iranian side is a good gambler, but it is breathing its last breaths," highlighting that the ongoing U.S. naval blockade continues to impose new economic pressures on the Iranian regime.
Regarding Gaza, Trump stated that "Israel should not launch attacks on Gaza at the present time," noting "positive progress" in the matter of disarming the Hamas movement. He stressed that the United States maintains its "special relations" with the movement.
Trump also indicated his belief that it is more appropriate for him to remain uninvolved in Israeli elections, though he might endorse a candidate later, emphasizing that midterm elections do not affect his thinking on Iran.
