U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the escalating turmoil in France, issuing a stern warning regarding the repercussions of immigration on the stability of European nations and calling on French authorities to immediately seal their borders. Writing on his Truth Social

platform, Trump stated that France is burning, arguing that the migration of individuals hailing from a completely different world and carrying hatred in their hearts has contributed to destroying a country that was once truly great. He urged officials in

Paris to regain firm control before it becomes too late, linking the cross-border movement of people directly to the unrest without detailing specific incidents. These remarks come as France grapples with extensive riots, rampant looting, and widespread vandalism following massive

demonstrations. Hundreds of thousands of citizens took to the streets nationwide to voice deep frustration over surging living costs and the sharp decline in household purchasing power. Violent clashes subsequently broke out between protesters and security personnel across major urban

centers, including Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lille, and Grenoble, alongside Limoges. During these chaotic events, commercial outlets were ransacked, and public infrastructure was heavily vandalized. In central Limoges, a severe blaze engulfed the historic nineteenth-century city hall, triggering the collapse of

part of the structure and causing significant destruction. In response, French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu reported that authorities detained approximately 1,200 individuals during Saturday's clashes, which also left around 150 police officers wounded. Speaking while inspecting police units stationed in

central Paris, Lecornu noted that the casualty figures could have been substantially worse, stressing that the administration will never yield to intimidation or allow political agendas to be dictated through street violence. The prime minister attributed the disturbances to far-left

factions and lawless elements attempting to leverage unrest for political leverage ahead of the 2027 presidential elections. Concurrently, French President Emmanuel Macron pledged that all individuals involved in attacking institutions, vandalizing commercial enterprises, and looting stores would be tracked down

and brought to justice, as teams work to evaluate total losses amid intense political pressure.
