US Envoy Tom Barrack arrived in Baghdad on Monday, expressing his pleasure at returning to the Iraqi capital.
Barrack confirmed he would meet with Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi to convey President Donald Trump's support for his government.
Barrack clarified that
his agenda also includes a meeting with the US Embassy team, led by Chargé d'Affaires Joshua Harris. His discussions with Al-Zaidi aim to explore a new path towards a strong and fruitful US-Iraqi partnership for both parties.
