After years of injustice whose effects extended to businessman Bahaa Abdul Hussein and Qi Card, former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi has acknowledged errors in the handling of the case associated with the Abu Ragheef Committee during his government.
The admission comes after Iraq Federal Supreme Court delivered a decisive legal blow to the committee by ruling that the Diwani Order under which it was established was invalid and should be annulled, reaffirming that state institutions must not operate
through procedures that undermine human dignity or bypass constitutional and judicial safeguards.
