The meeting between Al-Zaidi and Al-Maliki addressed several political and national files, notably
completing the ministerial cabinet formation to enhance state institutions' performance and bolster governmental work. Both sides affirmed the importance of backing government efforts in combating corruption, fostering integrity, and implementing economic reform. They stressed the necessity of restricting weapons solely to
state authority and fully imposing the rule of law, thus consolidating security, stability, and safeguarding state institutions. The discussion further reviewed foreign relations, emphasizing Iraq's openness regionally and internationally. The parties explored strengthening economic and investment partnerships to address current challenges,
positively impacting the Iraqi economy.
