Actor Ahmed Alawadi did not delay in responding to a message from his colleague Mohamed Ramadan following a period of rivalry and exchanges between the two. An hour after Ramadan's message on Tuesday, Alawadi replied with a message that combined
a competitive spirit with friendship, saying: "Star Mohamed Ramadan, we are brothers and friends.. no one is bigger than the other." Responding to Ramadan's comment "You are older than me," Alawadi said: "You are indeed younger than me by a
year and a half.. but you are great in your affection," adding, "You have more works.. and I am great in my love for simple people whom I thank very much for your appreciation of them in your post because
they are the reason for our existence." He continued: "I wish you a strong comeback with your new series after a three-year hiatus.. your presence this year made me very happy." Alawadi explained the recent ambiguous competitive posts between them
by saying: "God is my witness that my words aim to ignite a spirit of honorable competition for the benefit of our audience.. and I will take a promise from you to be present every year." Replying to Ramadan's invitation
to watch an episode of his series together during Ramadan, he said: "I invite you to watch the first episode of 'Sultan Al-Deeb' with me in Ain Shams, my hometown.. and celebrate the success of your brother and friend," referring
to the popular neighborhood he comes from. Social media users widely reacted to the stars' messages today, with many considering it a positive step to end any disputes and promote honorable artistic competition, while others believed the exchanges intensified the
rivalry and showed both stars' determination to prove their stardom. Earlier, Ramadan had addressed Alawadi directly in a post saying: "You are indeed older than me.. but I had the chance to lead a role before you.. so in age
you are my big brother, and in leading roles I am your big brother wishing you success." He concluded his message with a positive initiative: "I hope your series breaks records.. and God willing, we watch an episode of it
together in Ramadan 2027." The rivalry began in October with ambiguous posts, where both actors posted messages on Facebook referring to the characters "Ashmawy" and "Sultan Al-Deeb," linked to two dramas set to compete in Ramadan 2027. Ramadan wrote: "Three
years, everyone did their work.. now shhh Ashmawy is here," with the hashtag "Ramadan unites us 2027," signaling his return to TV drama after a break since the series "Jaafar Al-Omda" in 2023. Meanwhile, Alawadi posted: "The place you are
returning to, we have stamped it," signing off with "Sultan Al-Deeb," the character he portrays in his new series scheduled for Ramadan 2027, sparking a series of indirect competitive posts between the two.
