The South Carolina police have concluded their investigation into the death of American actress Hayden Panettiere, who passed away on August 16 at the age of 36 inside a rented apartment in Greenville. Authorities confirmed that her death was caused

by toxic effects of multiple substances and classified it as an accidental incident. Her former boyfriend and his brother were present at the apartment at the time of her passing. Hayden was found unconscious on a couch, while the brother

was asleep in another room. One of them attempted to save her by administering two doses of Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, before calling emergency services and performing CPR. The medical examiner's report indicated that the death

resulted from the toxic effects of substances including fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine, with no physical injuries contributing to the death. The case was administratively closed after being classified as accidental. Fentanyl is a powerful opioid, approximately fifty times

stronger than heroin, and even small amounts can cause fatal overdoses. The substance 4-ANPP is a key chemical used in the illicit manufacture of fentanyl. Alprazolam, commercially known as Xanax, is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic attacks, while

methocarbamol is prescribed as a muscle relaxant for short-term pain relief. Quetiapine, or Seroquel, is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe depression. Reports revealed that suspected drugs, prescription medications, and drug paraphernalia were found inside the apartment. Social

media circulated unverified claims related to the actress's past, which were not included in the official investigation findings. Prior to her death, Hayden Panettiere underwent treatment at a rehabilitation center in Malibu, California, where she stayed for two to three

weeks before leaving shortly before her passing. Her father stated that her struggles with addiction began in her early twenties and worsened following postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Kaya. The actress had publicly shared her experiences with

addiction, postpartum depression, and abuse in her memoir released in May. Her relationship with her former boyfriend was marked by recurring conflicts, including allegations of domestic violence. A private memorial service was held in Malibu, attended by approximately 150 family

members, friends, and colleagues, including stars from the series "Nashville." Hayden Panettiere left behind her 11-year-old daughter Kaya, who primarily resides with her father in Europe since her parents' separation in 2018. She was known for her roles in TV

series such as "Heroes" and "Nashville," and appeared in films including "Remember the Titans," "Ice Princess," and the "Scream" horror series.
