The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed, on Tuesday, that employee salaries are fully secured, with sufficient financial reserves available to address any potential deficit. Committee member Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi explained in press statements that the intensive meetings held by the Prime Minister
in New York may contribute to achieving a near breakthrough regarding several financial files, noting that the American side allowed oil to pass through the Strait of Hormuz while the Iranian side has not done so yet. She added that
the general economic state of the country is witnessing a noticeable improvement in oil sales, emphasizing the availability of cash reserves within the Central Bank to finance salaries when needed. She also pointed out that oil export rates are proceeding
well, although companies undertake taking oil from the government and exporting it at their own responsibility to bear potential risks, while deducting amounts ranging from 15 to 30 dollars per barrel.
