The Iraqi Prime Minister witnessed the signing ceremony of nine memoranda of understanding and executive programs with the Jordanian Prime Minister, aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation. The signed agreements covered various fields including cooperation in competition and anti-monopoly measures, environmental
protection, higher education and scientific research for the years 2026 to 2031, as well as consumer protection and documentation and archives. The memoranda also included cooperation between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute and the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute, along with mechanisms
to support small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, a revised version of the executive program for cultural cooperation for 2026-2028 was signed, alongside the executive program for educational cooperation for the same period, reflecting the commitment of both sides to develop
relations across multiple sectors.
