The Ministry of Oil announced its full readiness to host the largest investment event in the energy and gas sector at the beginning of 2027. The ministry stated that the organizing committee has completed all logistical and technical preparations for
launching the "Baghdad International Energy Investment Forum," scheduled for January 20-21, 2027, under the theme: (Towards Optimal Investment in Oil and Gas). The forum will be held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, with participation from energy ministers worldwide,
along with heads of major global companies and specialized international organizations. This strategic event aims to highlight the most prominent investment opportunities in Iraq's oil and gas sectors, aligning with the national vision to establish the capital as a pivotal
center in energy markets regionally and globally. The organizing committee has extended official invitations to energy and oil ministers, heads of international organizations and agencies, and executive business leaders to provide a high-level dialogue platform that facilitates building sustainable international
partnerships, attracting the latest technological solutions, and supporting infrastructure development to ensure the most efficient investment of national resources.
