The Supreme Leader issued strategic directives during a meeting with senior military commanders, emphasizing the importance of conscious combat readiness to confront enemies with strength and capability as a fundamental requirement to achieve maximum deterrence. He stressed the necessity of
responding immediately and effectively to every threat, regardless of its nature, without any geographical restrictions. He clarified that if enemies resume their military or terrorist attacks, the timing and conditions for ending those attacks will be determined by the armed
forces and the people. He called for strengthening the military intelligence structure and developing independent national defense in the fields of doctrine and tactics, as well as enhancing defense and security capabilities to keep pace with developments through the use
of modern technologies. He also emphasized the importance of boosting morale and jihadist spirit alongside securing the living needs of the armed forces and providing necessary support. As part of updating defense plans, a decision was made to update the
target bank to include various tangible and intangible assets of the American-Zionist enemy, enabling them to be within the firing range of the armed forces. He pointed out that popular support forms a fundamental pillar of deterrence against foreign hostile
forces and their mercenaries inside the country, considering the continuous presence of the people in the squares over eight months as an extension of the sacred defense that preserved the unity of the territory and the Islamic system. He praised
the resilience of the resistance front in various countries, considering "unity of arenas" a crucial strategic variable shaping the new political and security order in West Asia, expressing hope that this would lead to strengthening the unity of the peoples
and governments of Islamic countries and pave the way for establishing a new Islamic civilization. During the meeting, senior military leaders presented reports on the readiness and preparedness levels in various operational areas, including the Gulf coasts, Strait of Hormuz,
Sea of Oman, and the northwestern and southeastern borders, along with a significant increase in the production of various types of ammunition and weapons designated for reconnaissance, support, and combat operations. The Supreme Leader expressed satisfaction with the efforts made
and requested that his greetings, thanks, and approval be conveyed to all members of the armed forces, security forces, mobilization units, employees in these institutions, and their honorable families.
