The Parliamentary Finance Committee has expressed its commitment to stabilizing wages and contracts while creating new job opportunities for youth, noting that financial allocation details and the number of beneficiaries have yet to reach the parliament. Committee member Ghofran Al-Shammari

explained that the government has not yet submitted the mechanism details for wage and contract stabilization within the 2027 budget. Initially, 100,000 job positions were discussed, later increased to 120,000 as per the Prime Minister's statements, but the financial allocations

and their distribution by specialization have not yet been presented to the council. Al-Shammari added that the Finance Committee cannot specify exact numbers of beneficiaries until the budget details are received. The committee's vision focuses on supporting citizens and providing

employment opportunities for youth, especially long-time graduates, holders of advanced degrees, and specialists required by institutions as workforce. She confirmed that the committee supports this approach and aims to add new job positions if the budget allocations permit.
