Nezar Amedi discusses with Bafel Talabani government formation steps and country stability

The President's Media Office stated that "President Nezar Amedi met in Baghdad with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani. The meeting, attended by PUK Political Bureau member Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, discussed latest political developments and steps to form the new government, emphasizing continued national efforts for the success of the political process." The President stressed his keenness to "continue the balanced policy of the late President Mam Jalal to unify efforts and achieve supreme interests." He pointed to the "importance of finding solutions to outstanding issues within the Constitution and Law, contributing to consolidating political and economic stability and achieving comprehensive development." For his part, Bafel Talabani praised the President's efforts to bring political parties closer to form a government that meets Iraqis' aspirations in improving living and service conditions.
