Iranian media reported on Saturday that an oil tanker suffered an explosion and caught fire following a marine collision while traversing the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Revolutionary Guard, the vessel carried over two million barrels of crude oil,
noting that it illegally navigated the strategic waterway via an unauthorized maritime corridor.
