The Popular Mobilization Forces announced on Wednesday the participation of over 4 million mourners in the funeral procession of the late Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei in the holy city of Karbala. A statement issued by the PMF indicated that preliminary
estimates so far show the number of participants in the funeral rites has exceeded four million people in Karbala, even though the coffin had not yet entered the street designated for the ceremony. Earlier on Wednesday, the Popular Mobilization Forces
had announced the participation of approximately 3.8 million mourners in the funeral of the late Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei in the holy city of Najaf.
