General Esmail Qaani reaffirmed his country's supportive stance for Iraq's stability and the sovereignty of its national decisions in choosing its political leadership. In his remarks today, Qaani noted that attempts by foreign powers to interfere in Baghdad's affairs will
fail against the will of the Iraqi people, asserting that the formation of the new government must be based on an Iraqi national vision free from international pressure. He also thanked Iraqi state officials for their sympathy and support, describing
the Iraqi people as a model of historical steadfastness and resistance.
