The U.S.
Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today, Thursday, that its forces, actively enforcing a naval embargo on Iranian ports, have compelled 127 commercial vessels to alter their course since the embargo's inception.
The American command clarified, in a statement, that
six non-compliant ships were disrupted, while 36 vessels carrying humanitarian aid were permitted passage. The U.S. naval blockade on Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman commenced on April 13th.
