Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi affirmed on Wednesday the imperative need for diligent efforts to resolve regional crises through dialogue and communication. This statement came during Al-Zaidi's reception of the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq, where the two
sides discussed bilateral relations and the importance of strengthening and developing them across various fields to serve the common interests of both nations. Al-Zaidi reiterated, on behalf of Iraq's government and people, congratulations on Andy Burnham's assumption of the UK
premiership. The Prime Minister also highlighted the latest developments in the region, emphasizing the urgent necessity, regionally and internationally, to end crises via effective dialogue and communication to avert the continuation of conflicts that threaten security and stability in the
region and globally.
