Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said on Monday that the country's oil sector has faced some problems since the start of the US naval blockade on Iranian ports, but the Ministry of Oil has taken countermeasures, without specifying the nature of these measures. Paknejad added, in comments to Iranian state television: "During 40 days of war, our production did not decrease and the export process was favorable." He added: "Naturally, we faced challenges in the days following the blockade, but measures were taken and this process is still ongoing... the enemy is drowning in illusions."
