Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidy announced on Sunday that his government will establish new avenues for cooperation and investment with Paris and Berlin. This statement precedes his official visit to France and Germany with a high-level delegation. Al-Zaidy stressed the importance

affirmed that "Iraq today views the world with confidence, actively building genuine partnerships to transform its potential into an economic and regional power and an effective entity in its international environment."
