The Reconstruction and Development Coalition emphasized forming the government according to election results and their weights. The coalition stated in a statement received by (Al-Rabiaa): "We held, chaired by Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, a meeting of the coalition's leadership body, dedicated to discussing the latest political developments and the file of forming the new government." Al-Sudani reviewed before the attendees "the results of movements and meetings with political blocs, which centered on mechanisms for forming the government and distributing ministries according to electoral and constitutional entitlement." The meeting confirmed the continuation of consultations with blocs to reach common understandings leading to the government's formation. The coalition noted the "keenness for the government formation to be according to election results and their weights, to ensure a strong government that works to meet people's requirements, provide services, and improve the country's reality by continuing the path of development and reconstruction, finding solutions to economic crises, and keeping Iraq and its people away from any risks."
