Fars News Agency reported that search operations for a U.S. pilot inside Iran are ongoing following statements by U.S. President Donald Trump about his rescue.
The agency said operations are focused in provinces including Isfahan and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, with heavy military presence.
It noted aerial movements and explosions during early hours, alongside drone and helicopter activity.
Iranian forces reportedly destroyed several aerial targets, claiming rescue attempts failed.
Authorities denied any airborne landing operations, saying some reports were inaccurate.
