The selling price of one mithqal of 21-karat Iraqi gold recorded 940 thousand dinars, and the buying price reached 935 thousand dinars.
Regarding gold prices in goldsmith shops, the selling price of a 21-karat mithqal in goldsmith shops reached a new drop in gold prices in the Iraqi markets today between 970 thousand dinars and 980 thousand dinars for Gulf gold.
Global gold prices continue their record rise, in light of increasing investor confidence that the US Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in September, as well as increasing economic and geopolitical uncertainty, alongside expectations of lowering US interest rates.
