US Vice President J.D. Vance announced that a substantial volume of oil, amounting to 12.5 million barrels, transited through the Strait of Hormuz last night. He highlighted that this quantity represents the highest rate recorded since the onset of the
recent conflict. In his remarks, Vance stated that this development signifies a victory for the American people and President Donald Trump, irrespective of Iran's future actions. He clarified that Iran's failure to target any ships during the night indicates its current
adherence to existing agreements. The American official affirmed that the United States would not provide any funding or lift sanctions imposed on Tehran unless Iran demonstrates the required conduct. He noted that US forces stationed in the Middle East had secured
the passage of more than a dozen vessels, successfully navigating the naval blockade. Vance further explained that the 60-day period stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran commenced today. He emphasized that any final agreement would ensure Iran's inability to
possess nuclear weapons or finance terrorism. He added that Iran's economy is facing severe challenges, necessitating a change in its behavior to facilitate its reintegration into the global economy. Vance commented that Iran's conventional military capabilities remain destructive, yet its capacity
to threaten its neighbors has largely diminished. In a related context, the US Vice President expressed his expectation that Hezbollah would cease firing rockets and drones towards Israel, and, conversely, that Israel would discontinue its "rampage" in Lebanon.
